FW De Klerk, former state president of South Africa has reportedly died. His ex-wife was murdered at her Dolphin Beach apartment in Blouberg, Cape Town.

When the incident happened, there were rumors that she took her own life. However, it was later discovered that she was murdered by Luyanda Mboniswa, who worked as a security guard in the luxury secure complex where she was residing.

Tony Georgiades was a Greek shipping tycoon who had given financial support to de Klerk and the National Party. Though she was opposed to divorce and also said that she would forgive him for everything he had done in the past. 

However, Klerk was strong-headed and replied that he was certain about his decision and she would better stop hoping. He got married to his alleged girlfriend after a week of divorcing Marike.

He was found not guilty of molestation because a pathologist could not rule out penetration. He was charged with murder and sentenced to life imprisonment. 

Her death was tragic and still gives a chill to anyone who remembers it. Her former husband has also passed away in 2021. However, his cause of death is not mentioned till now.
