When she 15 years old, Woodley was diagnosed with scoliosis and was put in a chest-to-hips plastic brace to straighten her spine. The actress — who originally played Kaitlin Cooper on The O.C. before being replaced by Willa Holland — appeared on several hit TV shows in the beginning of her career, including Crossing Jordan, Everybody Loves Raymond, My Name Is Earl and CSI: New York.
Woodley was nominated for a Golden Globe for her work alongside George Clooney in The Descendants. She was later cast in The Spectacular Now, the Divergent franchise and The Fault in Our Stars. She was nominated for a second Golden Globe in 2018 for her role on HBO’s Big Little Lies.
Us Weekly confirmed in February 2021 that the California native was dating Aaron Rodgers after the pair were first linked in July 2020. The Green Bay Packers quarterback revealed that he had a fiancée during the February 2021 NFL Honors Awards. Woodley confirmed the same month that she and Rodgers had been “engaged for a while” during an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.
Us confirmed in February 2022 that the actress and the athlete split after more than one year together. Woodley previously dated New Zealand rugby player Ben Volavola.
