In-between marriages, Paul McCartney had an active dating life.

Mills continued on, revealing she almost took her own life because of the treatment she faced.

"I'm trying not to bring him into it, but at the same time he's not protecting me and my daughter. I absolutely did consider suicide about a year ago. When you are holding [the truth] inside for the sake of someone you've loved, who is not speaking out and could clear your name, it's like a volcano. I spoke to Paul... he knew I was suicidal and still no protection."

Some heavy claims were made by Mills. She went on to reveal during the charged interview that McCartney's family didn't make things any easier.

Mills said Stella trying to end her marriage with Paul McCartney was a weekly occurrence. "Stella wasn't interested in her dad's happiness. I can't protect her any longer. She's done some evil, evil things. The McCartney family is untouchable."

Paul McCartney's second wife Heather Mills blamed Stella McCartney for their pricey split.

Mills took things even further, claiming she had damaging evidence about the family that was stored in a safe. "The stuff in the safe... I'm protecting that party because I care about that party," she said. "It's a very difficult thing. But if it's going to carry on then I'm going to have to tell all the truth."

Ultimately, Mills claims all she really wanted was protection from McCartney during a difficult moment in their lives.

"I'm always looking over my shoulder but because of my daughter we speak often, we are very civil to each other. When I left Paul, I said: 'Protect me from what is going to be a modern-day stoning from a certain portion of the tabloid media and I don't want a penny.'"

Although she allegedly "didn't want a penny," she still managed to walk away with quite the fortune.

Paul McCartney Called His Marriage With Heather Mills One Of The Biggest Mistakes Of His Life

McCartney has said very little about the divorce. However, he was once caught saying his marriage to Heather Mills was the mistake of the decade. When a reporter suggested that was his biggest mistake, Paul did not disagree. He reacted, “OK, yeah. I suppose that has to be the prime contender.”

On the flip side, McCartney looked at the positive side of things. The icon was grateful that he got a daughter out of it.

“I don’t want to down anyone. These things happen. I tend to look at the positive side, which is that I have another beautiful daughter out of it.”

Although McCartney was forced into a massive settlement payment, his net worth really didn't suffer. He's currently sitting at a ridiculous fortune of $1.2 billion.
