Jeff Dye was born and raised in Washington before pursuing a career in stand-up comedy. He gained national recognition during the sixth season of NBC’s Last Comic Standing, which aired in 2008, and finished in third place.
In 2010, Dye starred in his own half-hour comedy special, Comedy Central Presents Jeff Dye. He later made appearances on MTV’s Girl Code and ABC’s Extreme Makeover: Home Edition and hosted two MTV shows: Money From Strangers and Numbnuts.
Dye joined the NBC comedy reality show Better Late Than Never in 2016, starring alongside William Shatner, terry bradshaw, George Foreman and Henry Winkler. The series came to an end in 2018 after two seasons.
The longtime TV personality made headlines in October 2020 after sparking speculation of a romance with Kristin Cavallari six months after she announced her split from Jay Cutler.
